Sky Dome Sidescroller Platformer Level Design Development

This is the sky background that I will be using for the sky dome level
I have included in a point light into the scene of the sky dome level 
I have included in a particle system and changed the shape of the particles to being a box and changed the start lifetime of the particles to 10 and changed the start speed delayh to 0
I have applied the cloud texture to the cloud particles so that the particles appear more like a cloud 
I have changed the shape of the particles to more of a cloud shape
I have duplicated the cloud particles and scaled it to a smaller size than the other one 
I have duplicated the cloud particles again and scaled it down to a smaller size, this is to see how different size platforms look like with the cloud particles 
I have duplicated the cloud particles again and scaled it down to a smaller size 
I have started to design the cloud particle platforms for the sky dome level 
I have changed the view to sideview and rearanged the position of the cloud particle platforms
I have positioned the two cloud particle platforms so they are in the correct places again 
I have duplicated one of the cloud particle platforms and positioned it in line with the other two platforms
I have changed the view of the level again and I have included in a cube which will be used as a platform
I have scaled the sizes of the cloud particle platforms 
I have duplicated the platform and positioned the platforms inside of the cloud particles 
I have slightly altered the size of the cloud particles 
I have positioned the platforms so that they are in the cloud particles 
I have scaled the sizes of the platforms slightly 
I have duplicated one of the platforms and cloud particles 
I have scaled down the size of the platform and cloud particles to make them slightly smaller 
I have changed the clouds from being a square box to being a cirlce and changed the settings of the cloud particles around. I have changed the platfrom to being glass transparent 
I have duplicated the cloud particles and the glass platform and positioned them slightly below the other cloud and platform 
I have duplicated the cloud particles and the glass platform twice and positione each of them slightly below each other. These platforms will be used to allow the character controller to jump onto until the player reaches the flagpole at the bottom of the level 
I have slightly positioned the platforms and the clouds to make it a bit easier for the character controller to jump across the platforms
I have duplicated the cloud and glass platform and made them slightly bigger. I have positioned them close to the other cloud and glass platform for the character controller to jump onto 
I have designed a different platfrom which will be used for the start point of the cloud sky dome level. The character controller will need to jump across the glass platforms from the start point platform
I have duplicated one of the clouds to generate the cloud particles underneath the start platform

I have positioned all of the glass platforms and clouds slightly further back again so that I can design more platforms in the row

I have duplicated the glass platform again to design another platfrom as well as the cloud particles to generate a cloud underneath the platform

This is an asset I am designing for the cloud platform level, the asset I am designing is a flagpole which will be used for the goal of the level
This is further into the development of the flagpole I have extruded the faces on the top of the sphere to design the base of the flagpole itself
This is the finished flagpole asset, I have extruded the two faces on the side of the flagpole base to design this flag shape
I have exported the flagpole and included it into the level, I have scaled up the flagpole and placed it at the bottom of the level 
I have duplicated one of the glass platforms and cloud particles to design another platfrom for the character to jump onto and to generate a cloud underneath the platform 
I have moved all of the glass platforms and cloud particles further up in to the sky dome so that I can design more platforms to get the player down to the bottom 
I have removed some of the platforms and duplicated the platforms back into the level so that they are not as far apart from each other
I have duplicated one of the glass platfroms and cloud particles to design another platform for the character to jump onto and to generate a cloud underneath the platform 
I have duplicated one of the glass platforms and cloud particles to design another platform for the level, so the character controller can jump on to it to progress further down to the bottom of the level and also to generate a cloud underneath the platform

I have included in some spike traps and placed them on one of the platforms for the player to avoid and jump over without touching them otherwise the character will have to respawn 
I have duplicated more spike traps and placed them on another platform, the player will need to avoid and jump over these spike traps in order to get onto another platform 
I have duplicated one of the glass platforms and cloud particles so that the character can jump onto another platform to progress further down to the bottom of the leel and to generate a cloud underneath the platform 
I have duplicated one of the glass platforms and cloud particles to design another platform for the player to jump onto to reach the bottom of the sky dome and to generate a cloud underneath the platform 
I have duplicated more of the spike traps and placed them on another one of the platforms which the player will have to avoid and jump over to get onto the next platform 
This is another asset being designed for the sky dome cloud level. These crystals have been designing with paint effects and will be used as the collectibles for the level
This is the crystal asset having the paint effects converted to being polygons so that they can be exported out into the level 
This is another crystal asset these crystals will also be used as the collectibles for the level but will give less amount of crystals to the player when collected
I have included in the crystals I designed which will be used as the collectible items of the level, the bigger crystals will be worth ten when collected whereas the smaller crystals will be worth five when collected
This is another asset which I have designed for the sky dome cloud level. This asset is the orb pick up collectible item which the player will have to collect around the level, there will be multiple different colours used for these collectible itmes as well as using the crystals also as collectibles
I have included in the orb pickup collectible which the player will be collecting as they progress around the level as well as collecting the crystal collectible items
I have duplicated the orb pickup collectible item twice and placed them onto the first glass platform and also moved one of the large crystals onto the second glass platform
I have duplicated one of the glass platforms and cloud particles to design another platform and to generate a cloud underneath the platform 
I have duplicated one of the glass platforms and cloud particles to design another platform for the character to jump onto and to generate a cloud underneath the platform
I have designed a particle effect to use as the glow for the orb collectible items
I have changed the colour of the glow from being white to yellow
I have applied the glow texture I created to the glow particle to give a better glow effect
I have included in the glow particle and positioned it inside of the orb collectible and scaled up the start size of the glow to 1000
I have duplicated one of the glass platforms and cloud particles to design another platform for the character to jump onto, so that the player can progress further down to the bottom of the sky dome level and to generate a cloud underneath the platfrom to show that the player is in the sky
I have duplicated the orb collectibles and the glow particle to design more orb collectibles for the player to pick up 
I have duplicated one of the glass platforms and cloud particles to design another glass platform for the character controller to jump onto to progress further down to the bottom of the sky dome cloud level and to generate a cloud underneath the platform

I have duplicated more of the orb collectible items and the glow particle to design more of the orb collectible items which the player wil be collecting througout the level

I have duplicated more of the orb collectible items and spike trap obstacles for the player to collect throughout the progress of the level and to avoid and jump over more obstacles. This is to achieve some game mechanics for the sky dome cloud level
I have duplicated more of the orb collectible items and the small crystals for the player to collect as the character progresses through the level 
I have duplicated one of the glow particles and changed the colour of the glow to green and positioned the glow inside of the orb collectible items
I have duplicated more of the glow particles and positioned them inside of the orb collectible items and I have changed the colour of the glow so that not all of the orbs have the same colour glow and to make them stand out slightly more
I have made this test scene to apply controls to the camera to allow it to follow the player
I have scaled down the platform and the orb asset so that the character controller will work 
I have done this test to test the camera follow script which follows the player without any problems and is easy to move around 
I have done this test to see if the cloud particles will still work and how they work with the platform 
I have slightly scaled down the size of the orb collectible as they will need to be smaller than the player
I have done this test to see if the orb is smaller than the player which is only just smaller than the dummy object character
I have scaled down the orb collectible to a much smaller size and duplicated the orb so that there are two collectibles on the start platform and scaled down the size of the glow particle so that it fits inside the orb. I have duplicated the glow particle to put inside to put inside of the second orb collectible 
I have done this test to see how the glow particle works and gives a bright yellow shine to the collectibles
I have scaled the first glass platfrom after the start platfrom to a much smaller size and positioned it slightly underneath the start platform for the dummy object character to jump onto 
I have scaled down the orb collectible items and the crystal collectibles that where originally on the platfrom to a much smaller size so that they are smaller than the dummy object character
I have done this test to see if the dummy object character is able to jump onto the glass platform from the start platform. There is too big of a gap so the player is not able to jump onto the platform at all 
I have moved the glass platform slightly towards the start platform so that the dummy object character is able to jump onto the platform 
I have done this test to see if the dummy object character is able to jump onto the platform, the character is able to jump onto the glass platfrom from the start platform without any problems 
I have positioned the orbs that were too close to the edge of the platform slightly further forward and duplicated one of them to have four orb collectibles on the platform 
I have scaled the second glass platform and positioned it near to the first glass platform
I have done this test to check the jump distance between the first glass platform and the second platform, the gap between the two platforms is too far so the character will not be able to get onto the platform 
I have duplicated the flow particle and positioned them close to the orb collectibles to give them a glow effect
I have done this prototype test to see if the glow particles are working which they are all working although one of them fades out when the player is not near to the collectible
I have positioned the glow paricle slightly above the collectible which does give the orb a slightly better glow effet when the player goes near to the collectible 
I have positioned the glass platform slightly closer to the first glass platform so that the character is able to jump onto it from the first glass platform 
I have done this test to see if the dummy object character is able to jump onto the second glass platform which the character is able to jump onto the platform without any problems 
I have scaled down the third glass platform and positioned it near to the second glass platform and also scaled down the large crystals to a smaller size and duplicated the crystals 
I have done this test to test the jump distance bwetween the second and third glass platform. The dummy object chracter is able to jump onto the platform without any problems
I have duplicated one of the orb collectibles and positioned it onto the platform and duplicated it enough times to get all of the collectibles I have placed around the platform 
I have duplicated the glow particle and changed the colour to being a light blue colour and positioned it in the orb and duplicated the particle and placed them near the orbs
I have done this test to see if the glow particles are working which the glow particles are currently working and give the orbs a bright glow effect
I have duplicated the blue glow and placed it near to the crystals to give the crystals a glow effect 
I have done this test to see if the glow particles give the crystals a blue glow effect where I positioned it in the middle of the crystals to give them the best glow effect
I have scaled down the third glass platform and positioned it near to the second platform 
I have done this test to test if the dummy object is able to jump onto the next platform 
I have duplicated the orb collectible and placed them around the platform and I have also duplicated the glow particle effect and positioned them near to the collectibles
I have done this test to see if the flow particle effects are working which the glow is working although some of them are out of position
I have scaled down the spike trap obstacle and placed it onto the platform and duplicated the spike trap and positioned them around the platform 
I have done this test to see if the spike trap obsracles are at the correct size and to also see if the flow effect still works around the orb collectibles
I have scaled down the fourth glass platform and positioned it slightly under the third platform and rotated it around so that the platform is the correct way up
I have done this test to see if the dummy character object is able to jump onto the platform, the character is able to jump onto the platform without any problems so the jump distance of the third and fourth platform is correct
I have duplicated more of the orb collectibles and spike traps and the glow particle for the third platform 
I have duplicated more of the orb collectibles and positioned them on the fourth platform 
I have done this test to see if I have positioned the orb collectibles correctly and to see if they are not too close together 
I have duplicated the glow particle and changed the colour of the glow to a darker blue 
I have duplicated the spike traps and positioned them around the platform 
I have duplicated more of the orb collectible item and the glow particle 
I have done this test to see if the charcter can move around the platform, the spike traps are slightly easy to move around and are not positioned to make it challenging for the player to get around the platform. The spike traps are slightly too big as the spikes are slightly too high to hurt the character when touched
I have designed a sphere to use as the character for the cloud sky dome level 
I have applied a script to the sphere to make the object move around like a ball 
I have scaled down the fifth platform and positioned it lower than the fourth platform for the character to either drop onto or jump onto 
I have done this test to see if the sphere character works with the scripts which the character is able to move around but not able to jump yet 
I have duplicated more of the spike traps to make it more challegning for the player to get the cahracter around
I have done this test to see if the sphere character is abke to get onot the other glass platforms
I have scaled down the sphere character to a smaller size so that the player can move the character around the obstacles to reach the other platforms 
I have done this test to see if the sphere character can get around the spike trap obstacles
I have started to duplicate the orb collectible items and spike trap obstacles onto the glass platform 
I have duplicated the glow particle and positioned them so that the orbs are in the middle of the glow 
I have duplicated more of the spike trap obstacles and placed them around the platform to make it more challenging for the player to get around them 
I have done this test to test if the character is able to get around the spike trap obstacles that are placed around the floor of the platform 
I have positioned the glow particles so that the orb collectibles are in the middle of them 
I have scaled down the sixth glass platfrom and rotated it around and positioned it slightly below the fifth glass platform for the character to jump or drop onto 
I have duplicated more of the orb collectible items and positiond them onto the sixth glass platform 
I have done this test to see if the orb collectibles are in position and not going through the floor of the platform and to also see if the character is able to get onto the platform 
I have duplicated the glow particles and positioned the glow the orb collectibles are in the middle of the glow particles
I have duplicated more of the spike trap obstacles and positioned them around on the platform 
I have duplicated more of the spike trap obstacles and placed them around the platform to make it more challenging for the player to get around the platform 
I have duplicated more of the spike traps and placed them around the platform 
I have placed more spike trap obstacles around the platform 
I have done this test to see if the character is able to get around the spike trap obstacles but to still have it challenging to the player 
I have scaled down the seventh glass platform and positioned it with the position of the sixth platform but placed it slightly below the sixth platform 
I have duplicated the orb collectibles and placed them around the platform 
I have duplicated the glow particle and changed the colour to a dark light green colour and positioned the glow so that the orb collectible is in the middle 
I have duplicated one of the spike traps and started to place the trap obstacles around the platform
I have duplicated more of the spike trap obstacles and placed them around the platform to make it more challenging for the player to get around  
I have duplicated more of the spike trap  obstacles and placed them around the platform
I have scaled down one of the platforms and made it thinner to make the level more challenging for the player and to give them a challenge to get onto the platform and onto the smaller platform at the side to collect the time and get back onto the platform and then continuing on. The player will have a choice of collecting the item or continuing onto the next platform in the level
I have scaled down the platform to a smaller size so that I can make it more challenging for the player to get around
I have done this test to see if the character is able to get across the platform and onto the smaller platform to collect the item before continuing onto the next platform. The player must think about how they are going to get the character around before moving
I have duplicated the small platform which the collectible item is on and placed it onto the scaled down platform to start the design of the maze on the platform. This is to make each of the platforms in the level different and to also make it more challenging and get the player to think before moving the character
I have done this test to test the start of the development of the maze which so far the two walls I have currently designed work well and do not have any gaps between them
I have designed more walls of the maze on the platform to make it more challenging for the player to get around and to think before they move around the maze

I have done this test to test if all of the walls for the maze are positioned correctly and have no gaps in which the player would be able the get through, the walls currently are positioned correctly and have no gaps in

I have done this test to see if the character is able to get around the wall of the maze which I had slight difficulty getting the character around
I have positioned the collectible to the right slightly to ge the character around easier
I have done this test to see if the character is able to get passed the collectible which the character is not able to yet
I have removed two of the collectibles so that there are not too many collectibles around the maze for the player to collect
I have done this test to see if the character is able to fully get around the maze which the character is able to do so
I have scaled down the platform to a smaller size and duplicated the thin platform and scaled it down to smaller size
I have done this test to see if the sphere character is able to get onto the platform and onto and across the thin platform, which the character is able to do so but will require the player to think before moving
I have scaled down the platform to a smaller size and duplicated the thin platform I designed and scaled it down to a smaller size
I have moved the platform slightly and rotated it around to make it more easier to get onto
I have positioned some spike traps onto the thin platform for the player to get around
I have scaled down the sphere character to a smaller size to make it more challenging
I have done this test to see how scaling down the character affects the gameplay, the character is very tiny and is barely seeable
I have scaled the sphere character back up again
I have scaled up the spike trap obstacles to a bigger size
I have done this test to see if the sphere character is able to get around the spike traps, the character is not able to because the spike traps are too close together
I have separated the spike traps around the platform but still slightly together so that the character is able to get around them and to make it more challenging for the player to get around
I have scaled down the size of the platform and created a cylinder to use for a different type of platform for the player to get across
I have scaled down the platform and rotated the platform slightly so that is in a different position and will make the level more interesting
I have positioned the spike traps so that the character can get around them 
I have done this test to see if the sphere character can get around the spike traps which the character is able to but gets stuck so far
I have re postioned the spike traps again to see if it makes it a bit easier for the character to get around them 
I have done this test to see if the sphere character can get around the spike traps, which the character is able to but the player will need to be careful not to touch the spikes too much otherwise the character will have to re spawn 
I have scaled down the first platform of the level to a smaller size and positioned two collectibles onto the platform with the glow effects
I have scaled down the second platform to a much smaller size so that each of the platforms are a different size and to make it more fun and challenging for the player to get through. I have positioned three collectibles onto the platform and given the collectibles the glow effect
I have scaled down the third platform to a smaller size and positioned some collectibles onto the platform for the player to collect and have given the colelctibles the glow effect 
I have duplicated one of the platforms and scaled it down to a smaller size and positioned it in between the two platforms. I have applied an up and down animation to make the platform a moving platform
I have done this prototype test to see if the up and down animation I applied to the platform is working. The character will be able to get onto the platform if the player times it correctly to get onto the platform
I have positioned some of the spike traps onto the walkway of the platform to make it more challenging for the player to get across it and will have to move the sphere character around the spike traps in a zigzag type of line without falling off the platform 
I have done this test to see if the character is able to get around the spike traps in a zigzag line 
I have applied a rotation animation to the cylinder to make it moving and more challenging for the player to get across
I have done this test to see if the character is able to get across the cylinder which the character can with good timing and will require the player to get the cahracter across quickly once on the object
I have duplicated one of the platforms and applied an up and down animation to the platform to make it moveable and I have placed some spikes on the floor of the platform
I have duplicated one of the walkways and scaled it down to a smaller size to make it more challenging for the player to get the character across. I have duplicated one of the platorms and scaled it down to a smaller size and applied an up and down animation to the platform 
I have done this test to see if the animations of the platforms are working and to see if the character can get across the walkway
I have duplicated one of the walkway platforms and scaled it into the shape of a ramp walkway and duplicated one of the platforms and scaled it down to a smaller size and applied a left and right animation to the platform to make the platform moving 
This is the design development of the 3D sidescroller sky dome Platformer level 
I have duplicated one of the platforms and applied a left and right animation to the platform 
I have done this test to see if the animations of the two platforms work, the animations are not working for the two platforms 
I have removed the two platforms which the animations wre not working and re positioned some of the platforms around 
I have duplicated one of the platforms and scaled it down to being a small platform and applied the left and right animation to the platform
I have duplicated the small platform and applied a left and right animation to the platform 
I have done this test to see if the left and right animations work for the two platforms, I noticed that the two platforms above one of the platforms has the animation working incorrectly
I have re applied the up and down  animation to the platform so that the animation of the platform works correctly 
I have re applied the up and down animation ti the platform so that the animation of the platform works correctly 
I have removed the two small platforms from the scene because the animations I applied to them were not working and duplicated one of the platforms and scaled down the platform to a much smaller size to use for a moving platform 
I have applied a left and right animation to the platform which the player will need to time landing onto the platform when it comes near to the walkway platform
I have done this test to see if the left and right animation is working correctly for the platform, the animation is woirking correctly and the player will be required to time getting the character onto the platform when it comes to the edge of the walkway platform 
I have removed the animation from the platform and re positioned it an re applied the left and right animation after doing the prototype test so that the character is able to get onto the platform when it comes closer to the walkway platform
I have duplicated one of the platforms and scaled it down slightly and positioned it near to where the animation of the platformn ends. I have started designing the walls for the maze of the second maze platform 
I have designed more walls for the second maze platform for the level 
I have finished the design of the right side of the second maze platform 
I have duplicated one of the orb collectibles and positioned on the side of the platform where the player will start to progress around the maze altough the collectible is closer to the side that will be blocked off, I have duplicated the collecitlbe and placed it inside the maze
I have done this test to see if the character is able to get onto the platform, the player will be able to get the character onto the platform if timed correctly and is able to get onto the platform below. The player will need to make sure that the character lands on the platform on the correct side where the character is shown in the print screen will be blocked off 
I have started designig more walls for the maze 
I have added a few more walls to the maze platform 
I have added more walls to the maze platform to make the player go around the maze platform 
I have positioned some more collectibles around the maze for the player to collect while getting around the maze platform
I have slightly re positioned some of the walls of the maze platform and duplicated one of the walkway platforms and scaled it up and positioned it where the ends of the platform is 
I have duplicated one of the platforms and scaled it down to a smaller size to make the platform as a moving platform 
I have duplicated one of the platforms and scaled it down to a smaller size like the other platform 
I have applied a left and right animation to the platform that is selected
I have scaled the platform to a bigger size as I decided to change my mind from having two moving platforms
I have duplicated one of the thin platforms and scaled it to a thinner size to make it slightly more challenging for the player to get across and duplcated it and positioned it onto the other
walkway platform 
I have duplicated one of the platforms and scaled it down to a much smaller size and poistioned it at the end of the thin walkway platform 
I have applied a up and down animation to the platform, this will take the player up to a platform that will be higher up
I have duplicated one of the platforms and scaled it down to a slightly smaller size for the player to get the character onto from the moving platform 
I have slightly re positioned the platform nearer to where the moving platform finishes the animation 
I have changed the colour of the cloud particles to a dark grey 
I have duplicated one of the walkway platforms and one of the platforms 
I have applied a left and right animation to the platform 
I have duplicated one of the platforms and scaled it up and positioned it near to the end of the animation of the platform
I have scaled the platform up to a bigger size to use as a maze platform 
I have started designing walls for the maze platform 
I have added a pick up script to the script of the sphere character and tagged the orb collectibles as the triggers so that they can be collected by the character 
I have done this test to see if the pickup script is working for the character to collect the items, the pickups are working and disappear when the player touches them to show that the character has picked up the collectible 
I have designed more of the walls for the maze and designed the first maze for the player to take
I have designed the second maze of the platform for the player to take 
I have finished the development of the maze platform and positioned orb collectibles in the maze for the player to collect
I have positioned the maze platform slightly away from where I had the platform orginally because the animated moving platform sits on the platform when it ends the animation and leaves no room for the sphere character to roll off and drop onto the maze platform 
This is where the animation of the platform finishes and now has room for the character to drop off the platform and land onto the maze platform
I have done this test to see if the sphere character is able to get around the maze platform which the character is able to get around the platform, although it does give the player a slight challenge of getting around the maze platform 
I have duplicated one of the walkway platforms and positioned it on the edge of the platform where the player will finish the maze. I have scaled the platform to make it wider 
I have duplicated the platfrom and scaled it to a slightly bigger size so that the two platfroms are different sizes. The player will need to get the sphere character across these platforms and will need to think how they will get the character across them without falling through the gaps between the two platforms 
I have duplicated one of the platforms and scaled the platform to make it thinner and to make the platform a different shape to the other platforms designed
I have duplicated one of the walkway platforms and positioned it at end of the platfrom for the character to go along 
I have done this test to see if the character is able to get across onto the other platfrom on the other side of the gap, the jump distance between the two platforms is too far apart so the character is not able to get onto the platform
I have positioned the platform on the other side of the gap nearer to the other platform so that the jump distance is decreased 
I have done this test to see if the sphere character is able to get across onto the platfrom on the other side of the gap easier now that the jump distance has been decreased. The player should be able to get the character across onto the other platform by jumping from the dge of the platform with enough speed gained otherwise the character will fall down the gap 
I have duplicated the walkway platform a few times to design the walkway for the player to follow 
I have duplicated more of the walkway platforms to finish the walkway for the player to follow along to the next platform 
I have done this test to see if the sphere character is able to get across all the walkway platforms, the character is able to but stops at one of them because it is not fully in line with the other platforms. Also the character is not able to get on the platform at the other sidc of the gap and falls down the gap
I have positioned the platform on the other side of the gap nearer to the other platform so that the character is able to get acorss to the other platform and positioned the walkway platforms so that they are all linked together 
I have duplicated one of the platforms and scaled it up to a slightly bigger size and positioned it at the end of the walkway
I have placed some collectibles on the two platforms and on the walkyway for the player to collect as they progress through the level 
I have done this test to see if the character is able to get up all the walkway platforms and onto the platform at the end of the walkway. The character is able to get across to the platform on the other side of the gap when enough speed has been given to the sphere character before reaching the edge of the platform 
I have duplicated one of the maze platforms and scaled it to a slightly bigger size so that I can design another maze platform 
I have scaled up the maze platform again to a slightly bigger size and started to design the walls of the maze

I have designed more walls for the maze and designed a wall that will make the player go into the maze to reach the end of the platform 
I have designed a flat cube object to use for the floor of the level which the palyer falls off a platform they will hit the bottom and will restart back at the start point of the level 
I have turned the mesh renderer off of the object so that it is invisible as it is not necessary for the player to be able to see the object
I have duplicated the script that I used for the fall game over restart script and change the name to hit, the script is used for the spike traps where if the player hits them they will have to restart back at the start of the level 
I have done this test to see if the scripts applied to the spike traps and also the fall script are working. The scripts are working correctly and will take the player back to the start when they hit a spike trap or fall off a platform 
I have re positioned the spike traps after noticing that they where still too close together to separate them a bit more from each other so that the player will have to get around the obstacles
I have applied the script to the spike traps on the other platform and re positioned them so that the player can get around the obstacles better and still have a challenge to get around them 
I have finished designing the maze platform just have the collectibles to include inside the maze for the player to collect and include in a few spike traps 
I have re positioned the spike traps around the platform again to try and make it a bit easier o get around the obstacles
I have done this test to see if it is easier for the chracter to get around the spike trap obstacles, it is slightly easier to get around but they will need re positioning again
I have duplicated some of the collectibles and included them into the maze on the platfrom for the player to collect as they progress around the maze 
I have applied a up and down animation to the first row of spikes which will start beng on the platform and will go into the platform and will come back out again, the player will need to time getting past the spikes correctly without being touched by them otherwise they will have to restart back at the start of the level 
I have applied a up and down animation to the second row of spike which will start being inside the platform and will come out onto the top of platform, the player will need to time getting past the spikes correctly without being touched by them otherwise they will have to start back at the start of the level
I have removed the two platforms above the spikes but have left one of them for the player to try and get the character onto as it moves up 
I have duplicated one of the platforms and scaled it down to a smaller size and duplicated one of the walkway platforms to start to design another walkway for the player to take 
I have finished designing the walkway for the player to take and designed a platform at the end for the player to get the character across without falling off which will then make the player start back at the start of the level

I have removed some of the spike traps from the platform to make it a bit more traversal for the player to get the character around them 
I have done this test to see if it is easier for the player to traverse around the platform now that I have removed some of the spike traps from the platform, it is slightly easier to traverse the character around the spike traps but the player will need to move the character around them carefully so that they do not touch the spike traps and restart back at the start of the level 
I have re positioned the spike traps to try and make them a bit more traversable for the payer to get the character around them
I have done this test to see if the character is able to traverse around the spike traps better, which the character can but only slightly 
I have removed some of the spike traps from the platform and re positioned the spike traps on the platform so that the character can get around them slightly better

I have duplicated one of the thin walkway platforms and scaled it down to a smaller size and duplicated one of the larger walkway platforms and scaled it down to a smaller size
I have duplicated the walkway and designed the walkway path for the player to get the character across
I have duplicated one of the large platforms and placed it at the end of the walkway path for the character to progress onto if they can reach the platform without falling off the thin platforms 
I have removed the spike traps from the platform as I noticed that the character is not able to get passed any of them so the player will not be able to advance otherwise. I have also scaled down the size of the platfrm to make it thinner and slightly more challenging for the player to get across
I have duplicated one of the walkway and scaled it to a slightly bigger size and duplicated that platform to have the two platforms 
I have duplicated the walkway platform again to finish designing the walkway and duplicated one of the other platforms and positioned it slightly away from the other platforms and positioned a thin platfrom onto it which will be animated to go in and out of the wall 
I have scaled down the platform to a smaller size so that the animation will work better with the platform 
I have duplicated the platform to get the row of the thin platforms, these platforms will be animated to go in and out of the wall but a few of them will start in the wall and come out. The player will need to time moving across the platforms correctly so that they will not fall off and have to start back the the start of the level
I have applied an left and right animation to the first thin platform so that it goes in and out of the wall. Which will require the player to move carefully onto the platform and onto the next platform without falling off or being knocked off the platform as it goes back into the wall 
I have duplicated one of the small platforms and scaled it up to the size needed to design a small maze platform 
I have started production of the walls for the maze platform which will get the player to progress around the maze to reach the end of the platform

Recent Project 

The last project I worked on was the Space Randy's Pizza Delivery group project which I was apart of a small group of six people with Lewis, Jachym, Dom, Dan and Connor. To contribute to the group I designed a space tunnel highway that connects the hub restaurant to the planets to take the player into the cities to deliver the pizzas in the given time limit.

Space Randy's Pizza Delivery Group Project 

 

For this assignment project I was tasked to work in a small group team to design a project. The team was myself, Dom, Dan, Connor, Jachym and Lewis. The project idea was to design a working prototype of a pizza delivery game. My contribution to this project was to design a space tunnel highway which connects the cities on the planets to the hub.

Winter Land Level

 

For the final assignment on the degree course I was tasked with designing an final major project of my own choice. I designed a Winter Land themed 3D Platformer level in the Roblox Studio Engine. In the time given for the project I needed to have a prototype with working game mechanics although some of the game mechanics did not script correctly.
